HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?

The sooner the better! My weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to me, the more likely you are to get your desired date!  

To reserve your date, I'll need a contract as well as a deposit. And if something comes up and you need to change your date, just let me know! 

If picking out outfits for photos takes you back to your high school days when you literally tried on everything in your closet and piled it on your bed but still felt like you had nothing to wear, you're in luck.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, I take photos for a living and I even feel like a deer in the headlights when I'm in front of the camera. 

You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and I coach you through images, I think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun. And don't worry about your kids. I'm well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones.

I’m SO glad you’re here!! Portrait sessions are my secret sauce to photography- I lOVE them, probably because they are so customizable! 
To begin your portrait experience, we will chat over the phone (or in person if you’re in Georgia!) and we will talk through what it is exactly that you’re wanting for photos! I have tons of experience in family and newborn sessions, etc. but it is still important for me to understand what you want! Not sure? No problem, I will guide you!  
Whether you really want that open space over the couch or mantle filled with your favorite people or you want an album to flip through that’s always on your coffee table, we will nail down your favorite thoughts! This allows us to use our time efficiently during the shoot!

I’VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

Once we’ve talked through your dream photos, we will see each other again at the portrait session where we will bring all those ideas to life!  

I’VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

Once your session is complete, I will plan a reveal session with you where we will be able to sit down (over coffee, preferably) and choose your favorite ones! I have several fun packages which include everything from prints, to gorgeous framed wall portraits, and even commemorative heirloom albums! With every purchase, you will receive a complimentary digital image; you know, just to keep your Instagram feed beautiful!
